86% of products are made in BIC’s own factories, which benefit from pragmatic and responsible management. BIC’s industrial policy is based on the implementation of management systems, now 88% operational for Environment and 85% for Health & Safety.

BIC has set up programs to reduce C02 emissions, energy, and water consumption and waste production. In 2008 BIC has achieved a -7% reduction of direct GHG emissions vs. 2007.
