The BIC Corporate Foundation’s Call for Projects third annual awards have produced four winners from 16 project applications from sites all around the world.

This year’s winners are:

- Children of Mekong: The Center will welcome impoverished students and provide guidance, training in soft skills as well as academics, and financial aid for a four-year university career.

- Enactus Nigeria: Working with local communities, students will develop business ideas focused on achieving quality education and responsible consumption and production goals for sustainable development.

- Ensena Ecuador: Ensena Ecuador will recruit and train university graduates to become teachers for two-year commitments in the country’s most underserved communities.

- Envision Hands: Envision will keep plastic out of landfills and use it to create prosthetic hands and arms for children. The prosthetics will help reduce the school dropout rate among children.

The four winning projects were selected with the help of the selection taskforce, made up of BIC team members from different regions and functions. The organizations will receive matching funds from both the BIC Corporate Foundation and their local BIC site for three years.

In a statement, the Foundation said, "We want to thank all the BIC team members who participated in this initiative and helped the BIC Corporate Foundation to continue empowering youth and providing them with educational opportunities. "
