THE CHALLENGE

While writing well is important for social and economic integration, French students often have difficulties mastering the skill, and most territories lack the resources or programs for further development.  

 

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Labo Des Histoires offers free writing workshops to children and youth up to 25 years old in various territories of Metropolitan and Overseas France. These workshops are led by professionals in various arts linked to writing, including fiction and non-fiction novels, songwriting, writing for comics, film scripts and more. In 2019, the project supported the production of Ocean Diaries, a text that collected young writers' projects inspired by the journeys of two renowned sailors.
