THE BIC COLLECTION EXHIBITION

BIC presented its contemporary art collection to the public for the first time, at the CENTQUATRE-exhibition center in PARIS (France) in Spring 2018. An unprecedented exhibition of more than 150 artistic works, from drawing to photography to sculpture, bringing together artists from all over the world who have been inspired by BIC®.

"This collection allows us to show how artists from all over the world can use BIC® products, as tools for creation or a source of inspiration. "
Bruno Bich

"Through more than 80 international artists and 150 art pieces, the very simple daily product (ball pen, pocket lighter, razor) becomes medium of the creation. The artists transform, transpose and transfigure it. The exhibition becomes their laboratory. Along the way of very diverse and unsuspected fields, this collection appears as multifaceted and eclectic. The artist diverts the object of his real first function. He recreates it and invite us to think out of the borders of drawing, painting, writing and image, design and art."
